
Listen to my New Album: Sei Solo Sonatas and Partitas for Solo Violin by J.S. Bach
Julia Wedman recently announced that her new album, “Sonatas and Partitas for Solo Violin by J.S. Bach” was released on the 11th of November. To celebrate this wonderful news she offered two wonderful concerts. One on the 11th of November at 8:15pm and one on the 12th of November at 3pm.
The first concert was at the Trinity St. Paul's United Church - Gymnasium on Saturday, November 11th at 8:15 p.m. joined by The Eybler Quartet and the dancers Brian Solomon (Anishinaabe/Irish) and Mariana Medellín (Mestizo/Mexican).
The second concert was at St. Catharines United Mennonite Church on Sunday, November 12th at 3:00 p.m. joined by The Eybler Quartet.

This concert marks the CD launch of Julia Wedman’s much anticipated release of J. S. Bach’s Six Sonatas and Partitas for solo violin.
This century-spanning program interweaves some of J.S. Bach’s most intimate and poignant music with works by later composers who owe a profound debt to the Baroque master. Julia Wedman is featured in selections from the Sonatas and Partitas for solo violin. The Eybler Quartet joins her on this fascinating journey of delight and discovery drawing connections to works by Joseph Haydn and Gregor Werner.
Dancers Brian Solomon (Anishinaabe/Irish) and Mariana Medellín (Mestizo/Mexican) have agreed to join us and animate the concert with their wonderful performance.
